HOW EDUCITY-NCUK RELATIONSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED
EduCity Iskandar was tasked to develop a fully integrated education hub located in a 305 acres of area at Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. EduCity Iskandar’s vision is to offer unique access to lifelong learning with education partners ranging from Institutions of Higher Education, Research and Development Centres, and to Professional Training and Accreditation Academies.
As EduCity Iskandar continues to expand and develop its education landscape, so will its list of best-of-class education partners continue to grow. In 2022, an agreement with the Northern Consortium United Kingdom (NCUK) was signed. Through this agreement, EduCity Iskandar now has an NCUK Study Centre offering an International Foundation Programme that will prepare students for admission to bachelor’s degree programs from NCUK’s list of prestigious UK universities or other higher education institutions that recognise this certification.
The NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) is a pre-university programme designed to prepare students for study at English-language institutions. The programme offered in EduCity is a 9-month fast-track programme foundation pathway in Business which will allow students to enter and complete university a year ahead of their peers.

When a student passes the Foundation programme, they will be eligible to enter a host of leading University Brands worldwide (UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA and in Malaysia.

English Qualification
All students undertaking our IFY programme are exempted from IELTS, TOEFL and other required English examinations prior to their degree studies.

Entry Requirement
Foundation in Business, Science, Engineering & Humanities Studies
– SPM: Successful completion of 5 modules with average grades of B/C. Forecast result is acceptable
